Encore Films invited Radio Fusion for the exclusive screening of Crows Zero recently.

If you haven't watch it, you're missing out on the good things in life. Especially if you're a girl.

There are a handful of reasons for you to drool. Yup, a bunch of good-lookers in there.

The basic storyline - Suzuran High School is filled with young punks all with an aim to conquer the entire school. Takitani Genji (Oguri Shun) *writer's note - ladies in the cinemas gushed when he appeared time and again* joined the school and immediately gets into the thick of the action. He starts a gang to embark on his mission to takeover the "school of crows". He faces tough competition from Serizawa Tamao (Yamada Takayuki) *writer's note: I think this guy is waaaaaaaay cooler than Oguri Shun, but oh well, women are women.* The show revolves around Genji's progress to the top of the ladder.

It amazes me how cool this whole movie came off. The fight scenes were intense and real; the acting was uber cool, the snippets of humour (crude or otherwise) injected into some scenes added colour to the adrenalin-pumping storyline. The punk who perspired like a running tap when it came to meeting women is hilarious (and disgustingly charming). And check out the rest of the gang Genji recruited - ladies, you have been informed.

This testerone-filled movie will get every guy pumped up with all the punches and flying kicks whizzing across the screen as the story unfolds. You'll also be visually blasted by the fashion show. The boys look dashing in their outfits that fighting in them is a waste. The macho shots you'll see just completes the crazy-cool look that will get us guys thinking about dressing to school and the girls weak in their knees. Oh, check out the SARS mask on one of the young punks - somebody please wear that to school. We'll feature you on Radio Fusion if we spot you.
